The roads are now closer to the lake, which was in and out of the view. There was a wind turbine – solar panel combined energy farm. I passed by a field with crops of big leaves typical of tobacco. I was not sure if they were tobacco. I saw asparagus ferns the first time.

I met a biker who was on the way to his high school reunion in Toledo OH. He had extensive experience cycling in Europe and shared with me information of where to go and where to avoid.

The campsite at the Selkirk Provincial Park was completely surrounded by woods without any lake view. I’m disappointed again.
